Interesting article about RvNs addition to the backroom staff.

Good to know he's at work putting people in place.

Even if Jelle ten Rouwelaar sounds like something a poncy celebrity chef would whip up on one of those crappy TV shows.

Gregg Wallace is available if that’s what we are looking for.

Comparable number of games and opponents now. Fair to say that the change of manager hasn't worked.

We've not got better at creating or defending. We're now just worse at converting chances (as Vardy has been poor) and less good keeping the ball out (missed Hermansen).

All in all, it's been a bit like replacing Boris Johnson with Liz Truss.

He was a terrible appointment.

But...Cooper did have Richardo, Fatawu, Ndidi, and Hermansen.

4 first team players.

I listened to RvN in his press conference yesterday.

He speaks so well and handled the questions about the transfer window very impressively.

He knows what is needed.

The problem is that he's showing no indication that he can translate talking about us in a composed and intelligent way with getting his players to play that way.

BN,

Was SC without Fatawu, Ndidi and Ricardo for large periods of his reign? RvN has been here 5 mins it will take time also, there is a vast difference with regards to Cooper and RvN when it comes down to managerial experience. For me both managers were fools for taking this on, more so SC as he was dropped in last minute and maybe he thought he could he could make an immediate impact. I must point out that SC not selecting Ricardo was simply astonishing as for me he is one of our most technically gifted players.

Even if we are relegated I would stick RvN there is a definite difference ( my perception) in how we are playing, imo it is much better than under SC. For me we have to accept that the squad has been hollowed out from last season and poor decisions have resulted in this mess.

I get the impression ( based on gut feeling) that RvN is prepping for the championship now, if I am correct this is a shrewd move by the club and manager. One thing is for certain the experience and knowledge that RvN will gain will only help him in the future as a manager.

I am interested in where we go now as a club and whether RvN is a long term vision or is simply a stop gap for the remainder of the season only the owner knows this.
