Of players I've seen play in my lifetime:

Schmeichel
Ricardo, Elliott, Huth, Fuchs
Mahrez, Kante, Youri, Guppy
Vardy, Heskey.

What a team that would be.

Pains me to leave out Muzzy but Youri is the better player. I'd have Muz over Drinkwater though.

We must be a similar age.

I would also add Jack Froggatt, a big centre half who could also play as a left winger, which he did in 1954 against Man U in the first LCFC game I saw. I think Rowley missed that game, but those two soon became my heroes

That's the problem with these things. You try to fit the best players in rather than pick the best team.

For example, you can't have both Mahrez and Weller as they both play in the same position. Choose one. Same with something like Kante vs. Lennon. Also, Vardy and Lineker wouldn't work. Either with a Worthington or a Smith would be better.

The other problem with these things of course is that people take them too seriously, ain't that right BN?

We're a bunch of grown men who should really know better, still obsessing over a game we watched & played when we were kids.

Taking things too seriously is what we're all about.
