Familly's "Best of Family" album from 1974 has a cover with several City players on it. Who are they?
I'm guessing Rodney Fern, Malcolm Partridge and Ally Brown even though none of them where still with us in '74.

Does anyone in here have this album?

It's the members of the band as if they were playing for Leicester. I seem to remember it being discussed on here before, they were big Leicester fans and a successful band in the 60s.

Oh yes! I thought that owning this album was a prerequisite for any City fan. :icon_bigg
I suspect that the band members have their own facial features to City players with some likeness. The chap behind the Rodney Fern look-a-like is wearing glasses!

Can we expect something similar for a Kasabian "best of" album?

Family - "In my own time" and "Burlesque" are British rock classics from early 70's. Unfortunately, none of their other songs came close to these two brilliant tracks

Hawkwind "Silver machine", Atomic Rooster "Devil's Answer", Deep Purple "Black Night", T.Rex "Jeepster", Free "Wishing Well", Bowie "Jean Genie", Humble Pie/Sensational Alex Harvey Band/Traffic... what a time to be a teenager in England!

I must disagree because you left out "The Weaver."

Haven't got this one but I do have an LP which is a side each of Peter Shilton and Jon Sammels talking quietly about stuff. It's not very good, but when I saw it I had to buy it.

Mention of an 8-track? Classy first post. Welcome, robthornton.
