brilliant.
Thanks Milesbrilliant.
Travel (for the sake of it) has been an utterly pointless concept for decades. We can see anything from the comfort of our own internet connection. It's nothing more than an attempt to assert superiority over others and create some sense of self worth ('I've been there', 'I've seen this')
Only complete bores go on about travel and experiencing other cultures and all that shite.
I say save yourself a load of money and aggravation and don't travel and experience other places and cultures because other people have already done it and you can see/read about it far cheaper and quicker.
In mitigation, I do know a couple of people, who I would class as "box tickers", who do travel to places just to say they've been there. From the way they talk about some places, it sounds like they might as well just have driven past in a car, on their route to ticking off places as having been visited.Travel (for the sake of it) has been an utterly pointless concept for decades. This is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard for a very long time.
The interwebz and streams, TV and Radio cannot convey the senses that are stimulated by visiting somewhere such as India and so on.

They are not representative, though, of most people I know and they are the sort to bore on about their travels.
If you post was aimed solely at people like that, then I can see where you're coming from. If it was a general point, then I refer you to my previous post on the matter.
That's incredibly ignorant and incorrect to the point that it borders on racism.Yawn, yawn. You're one of them, see what I mean.
I don't have to go to India to know that it stinks.
It depends on your point. You know I'm right but you're not ready to accept it. Fair enough.
I think BN has been playing games here (based on previous posts on his personal life). That's incredibly ignorant and incorrect to the point that it borders on racism.
You may be right and I may be tired...I think BN has been playing games here (based on previous posts on his personal life).
I read it as being akin to knowing all about a game by watching it on television but maybe I'm being too generous.
You may be right and I may be tired...
Tosser, like.Google maps, porn and shopping home delivery has made leaving the house a total waste of time. I'm with you BN
Tosser, like.
Most major cities in Morocco are on the coast. You ought to get out more too. There are prettier town centres than Leicester City.
Excellent. Now take that thinking one stage further.
Enlightenment awaits you.

Nope, it's not the same thing at all.
Travel for the purposes of broadening the mind, and experiencing new things, is a load of total wank.
Watching football on TV is an excellent past-time.
