Amartey starting again for Ghana vs Egypt tonight.

They'll play Cameroon on Thursday. Amartey unlikely to be back for the ManU game regardless of the outcome.

Do you remember those threads early in the season where so many supporters wondered what he was doing in the team?

Mbodji also in there.

**** that though. Defence needs a complete makeover fast. Amartey and either Benny or Wague at CB. Sick to death of Morgan, Huth and Fuchs and their brand of pub team defending.

Amartey alongside Morgan. Big Wes will not get dropped.

I think I read somewhere (the Mockery?) that Amartey won't play against Derby due to the number of games he's played over the last few weeks.

So unless Wague is ready it'll sadly be business as usual - a 3 nothing loss ;)

Wes might be rested but Ranieri will not drop his captain.

It doesn't matter whether he's ready or not:

FA CUP rules
15. PROVISIONS CONCERNING PLAYERS
(f) All players must have been eligible to play in the original tie in order to play in a replayed or postponed match

Plus he played 90 minutes last night.

Yes, I was going to remark on the fact he played last night (I pathetically and optimistically looked for a stream! You never know...)

Once I saw he'd played a full 90 I realised there was next to no chance of him featuring on Weds. I reckon it'll be Morgan and Huth against Derby then.
