Desperately hoping that a half-fit Slimani can play
Desperately hoping that Vardy and Fuchs don't play
Desperately hoping that somehow they can drag themselves back from the abyss
Desperately hoping that we don't get done by six or seven goals
Desperately hoping that there is no chorus of 'Champions of England, you'll never sing that'

0-3, and chorus of boos

Schmeichel
Simpson Wague Ndidi Chilwell
Mahrez Mendy King Albrighton
Musa Slimani

At this rate a 0-3 loss seems almost decent.

A bit like when one of the chumps on The Chase takes minus money.

I would be delighted to see either of the above selections. But we all know that Vardy, Drinkwater, Morgan, and most likely Fuchs will start.

An afternoon stroll for Utd against the usual crowd of underperformers. At least 3 or 4-0.

Being a well known happy clapper I expect a 2-0 victory (Gray,Slimani) and my hope is that Vardy is dropped.

I'm hoping for big things. I'll be content with a defeat and every player doing some running about.

It would be typical of some of our "bertie big bollocks" players to raise their game against a glamour club (compared to a wet tuesday night at Burnley). imo we need some strong vocal personality players on the pitch to gee up/bollock some players. Hopefully one such leader could be Slimani Im as dissappointed as any fan but performing as bad as we have this season we have still amassed 21 points from 13 games that means 19pts/15 games to reach the magic 40. Im not confident but with the players we have it should be achievable, im trying to keep positive and a thrashing here would be demoralising, i hope we play a tight defensive formation and attemt to nick a point or 3

You mean like the last time we played them? Or when we played Chelsea? Or Liverpool?

I have seen no evidence to suggest that we're overperforming against better teams. We have been fairly consistently shit regardless of day, time and standard of opposition. Just like we were consistently good last year

Shitty Hull just took a point from these at Old Trafford. More fight in everyone else down there than there is in us.

Schmeichel is our only player with any kind of leadership qualities and hes stuck in goal. You want to see the likes of Morgan and Drinkwater in the middle of defence and midfield take some responsibility like the likes of Taggart and Walsh used to do and try geeing their team mates up but all we get is Drinkwater kicking about like a spoilt brat and a damp squib of emotion tinged with relief from Morgan after rescuing an unlikely draw against Championship Derby in the cup. We've got Ulloa moaning about 'im not gonna play this and that' because he can't get in the team. Well guess what Leo, you can't get in the team cause you're less effective than the shit we're already seeing from Vardy so man up, grow some ****ing knackers and show some ****ing fight and ability to take his place!

That made me ROFL. Sad to say I expect some morons to actually chant that.

Waiter, I know it's early, but bring me three pints of what Tornado had. And a bag of Beef Monster Munch.

Hopefully "Champions of League One, you'll never sing that'' is used instead.

It's a relief that normal service has been relieved and I can go down to the stadium to boo the players.

Scarcely had a chance to do that last year.
