Schlupp and Mahrez will be huge losses. I fear our upturn in form will end with the loss of these two. 2-1 to the Villains.

Ffs Schlupp has not become the be all and end all in 3 games.

It's a real shame that they're both gone though. One would be fine but losing our best attacking threats at the same time isn't too good. Plus Jeff was proving useful on the wing for both his defensive e and attacking qualities.

Mahrez gave us a real creative edge. Hopefully Nuge will come in and push on with his good form and Albrighton or Knockaert will seize an opportunity.

Albrighton looked really good against Newcastle, expecting him to start and cause Villa problems, maybe a goal as they always score against their former clubs, right?

I reckon:

Hamer
Simpson Was Wes Konchesky
James King
Albrighton Nugent Vardy
Ulloa

Subs: Schwarzer Moore RDL Knockaert Hammond Lawrence Wood

Pol Pot

We need to get in a left winger urgently.

Looks a bit weak down the left.

Edit: too slow.

Oh, and the reserve keeper - Josef Fritzl

If they're left-wingers, they're all very right-footed.

With the execption of the smug readership of the Guardian, which might think it's a left winger but is more of a left half-back longing for the good old days of W-M.

looking forward to this, off to the lost bar
