Schmeichel

Simpson Dragovic Maguire Chilwell

Iborra

Gray NDidi Okazaki Albrighton

Vardy

4-5-1 with Iborra blocking off Courtinho dropping into the pockets in front of our back four, the scousers will be blowing after 70 mins then bring on Mahrez and Ieannachio to inject pace when the game loosens. Time to to see if Gray can improve his decisions and also find out if he can impact games on a regular basis, barring Silva we are finally getting competition for places, something I do not think we had last season.

Chillwell has more than enough pace to cope with Liverpool's wing play Albrighton will help give cover on that side, Gray has to keep position and know when to stick or twist, he is starting to look up on occasions now he is still a greedy git though. We will see if it is Simpson who is always out of position or if it was big wes ( Who was immense last night) who is always out of position.

Why would anyone pick Iborra after last night's showing?

I accept it's all about opinions, but that one is truly baffling

Other than the Ox, he was the worst player on the pitch, and so far off the pace it was actually laughable to watch

He should be nowhere near the team after that display

Agreed Homer in parts, however he plays defensive midfield and does it better than King who IMO is an attacking midfielder, I am concerned if Shakey goes 4-4-2 we will be hammered. If we are compact with real pace upfront we can hurt Liverpool as their defence is shoddy.

We are clearly screaming out for Silva to compliment Ndidi but we will have to make do for now

Usual back five

Gray for Albrighton (who just looks a wee bit stale).

Who ****ing cares in midfield.

Shinji, Mahrez, Vardy start.

Defo Morgan to start alongside Maguire.

Liverpool defence has been weak for many months now, but do we have enough in midfield to play Okazaki behind Vardy and Nachos?

Could we afford to play just 3 at the back, to bolster numbers upfront and just go for the 'score more goals than they do' strategy?

I suspect:

Shane Michael

Simmson
Moregun
McGuire
****ed (if fit?)

Meeraz
Lborra
Ndody
Allbriteson

That Japanese fella
Vardeh

I think that’s what we’ll see. The only change I’d be tempted by is Gray for Albrighton - but think we need Albrighton to help against their wingers in this.

Whatever we do we should man mark Coutinho. Something similar to when Kaamark nullified Juninho against Middlesbrough in the League cup final. That would hopefully work well.

I'd like to see a 4-2-3-1:

Kasper

Simpson
Morgan
Maguire
Fuchs

Ndidi
Iborra

Mahrez
Okazaki
Iheanacho

Vardy

I think we'll see 4-3-3:

Kasper

Simpson
Morgan
Maguire
Fuchs/Chilwell (depending on injuries)

King
Ndidi
Iborra

Mahrez
Vardy
Gray

The above was a lie. It'll actually be 4-4-2:

Kasper

Simpson
Morgan
Maguire
Fuchs

Mahrez
Ndidi
King
Albrighton

Okazaki
Vardy

I am ready for a ban:

Kasper
Simpson Morgan Maguire
Iborra N'didi
Mahrez Okazaki Fuchs/Albrighton
Vardy Iahnacho

I reckon we'll see

Schmeichel
Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs
Mahrez Iborra N'didi Albrighton
Okazaki Iahnacho
