I think the reasonI don't have to take mine down is becasue I live so far away and often don't know until the day of the match that I can't make it which means there's no way I can get my ticket to them.

Perhaps you should ring the TO, tell them that you're stuck in a meeting in London, won't be able to get to the game but want to take advantage of the exchange but clearly won't be able to get your card to them. I had a moan at them saying that if they're going to implement a system (the swipe cards) they should have it all running from day one and not in some half arsed way as they have and why should I be put at a disadvantage because their systems aren't complete etc etc.
