It was a really good peformance from us. Unlucky with that result, we deserved something. Nice to see some of the youth players coming through too; Nelly Las looks a real talent in the making.

A backup goalkeeper has been signed, Olivia 'Liv' Clark. From FC Twente via Bristol, Watford, Cov.. and other places, she's bounced about. 23 years old, the Welsh international keeper with 25 caps. So youth and experience, a good signing. I look forward to seeing her play.

Emily Pelgander has gone out on loan too. Hopefully we've saved a bit of money in the goalkeeping department but the team is crying for a natural striker, I hope we've not finished our business

Yes, I ought have mentioned that one too. Emilia didn't get much of a run but she plays in a position where we have a number of options. Just the way it goes. When she did get a run, she looked useful. So maybe one for the future and hopefully game time at Rosengard will improve her game.

We could do with a striker, for sure, and it certainly wouldn't surprise me if one came in on loan.

The new manager has got us defending better in general but she has been hamstrung by those key long term injuries to Rantala and Petermann.....
