I don't find offensive, I just find it inappropriate with anything in relation to a sport.

The majority of Sun and Mail readers would support the song, it's more your Guardian followers who frown upon it.

I meant more that it's normally the sun who report that we can't place flags in taxis etc anymore, which anger sun readers.

It would appear the Beck, Rooney, Owen and Svennis find it offensive. Plus anyone agreeing with Tony Parsons is automatically very, very wrong.

And i agree with Hazz and Macky though, shows a complete lack of decorum and is entirely inappropriate at a football match.

Maybe its just me and im missing something, so can you tell me, what is so funny about it? The only thing i can think of is that you know its a little risque and close to the knuckle and get a cheap kick out of it, which means you clearly can see why its offensive, because theres certainly no jokes in there.

Reports like that are generally made up bollocks to sell papers. That particular example is a myth as is the "Ba Ba Rainbow Sheep" one, as is the "Blackboard" one, as is the "Winterval" one etc. etc.

My kids playschool insisted on singing Ba Ba Woolly Sheep a couple of years ago, and I have been employed within a local authority many years ago where it was insisted that it was called a chalkboard rather than a blackboard, citing equal opps as the reason

I don't see a problem with 'lewd' chanting myself. We get called 'limeys' and all kinds of crap and don't kick up a fuss. To me it's no different to us lot singing 'sheep sheep sheep shaggers' at Derby which is equally as offensive but just part and parcel of football nowadays and IMO the chanting is a small part of what makes for a good day out at a football match.
