To me it's no different to us lot singing 'sheep sheep sheep shaggers' at Derby which is equally as offensive .

Offensive? Considering it's a load of codswallop developed from their emblem. It's hardly offensive, now celebrating the shooting down of one country's soldiers is or could be seen that way.

If I was called a foxhunter or shagger, I couldn't give a feck but if some twat from Iraq went into my country singing songs about suicide bombers seeing off 10 of my countrymen, I might have something to say about it.

There's a balance between jokey banter and rudeness.

Indeed, comparing mocking an emblem to a sheep to killing people, maybe relatives of these fans for all we know is clearly not the same thing

I'm afraid crude jokes are just part and parcel of life sonny. Like I said I personally don't have a problem with it, I wouldn't be particularly happy with hearing Iraqis chanting about the war either but in reality there is not a lot I can do about it, all you can do is take it on the chin and give as good as you get back I guess. The real problem I would have with that kind of chanting is that IMO, these extreme examples are a main cause for inciting violence at matches.

Singing songs about winning the war is a bit like Forest fans singing about winning the European Cup. It was fecking ages ago and it makes us look a little bit sad.

I agree. I would guess that most of those still alive who actually put their bodies on the line for the allies would find it more than a bit pathetic actually. I imagine war is a terrible thing ( for both sides ) and people who's only experience of violence is a dust-up outside a kebab shop on a Saturday night to trivialise war in such a manner is plain stupid.

Maybe you should let WACCOE in on this for a good few reasons!
