Still would. By a mile. He's a far, far better defender. 2 decent games and now Chilwell is brilliant again . I'll buy it when I see him perform as well as he has done over the past 2 games, consistently.

Quite. If Rodgers believed that Tierney was better than Chilwell he'd be here and Chilwell would have been sold in the summer. There would have been plenty of takers. He's worked with them both, so I trust his judgement.

Given that Benkovic was a sensation for Celtic last season and cannot get onto our bench, I am very puzzled by anyone that can make that call. Their bias against a great locally produced player is increasingly absurd.
