Penalties are frequently given these days when the player takes both the man and the ball, which is exactly what happened here.

That just isn't a penalty. If it is, you might as well ban defenders from challenging altogether.

And my point is other teams might have tried to appeal and reaped rewards with decisions later on. We’re not very streetwise.
