Leicester v Blackburn/Birmingham FA Cup R5

I’ve seen some whingjng on this forum but this might just be the most ridiculous. We’re not talking about bad innovations of a football club, we’re talking about evolution of mankind.

Then again some people must’ve refused to get on them trains because they preferred the familiarity of their horse and cart.

It’s not worth the debate, move on with life.

I thought that I made it clear that I don't have any issue with innovation for those that want to gain access to the ground this way. I fully support giving people choices.

It's the fact that the club are increasingly pushing everyone in this one direction. That's despite the system not being reliable and not being accessible for all.

Stopping supporters from ordering actual tickets online for this game is a deliberate move which I disagree with. It's discriminatory.

As I said, it’s the world we live in. We are increasingly striding towards a cashless, paperless way of living. Do you kick up a stink about discriminatory when you get to a cashless bar? It’s pretty clear, and not unfair at all to use 21st century methods.

Contactless doesn't always work. Cash is at least a good backup.

Man City....
Nah. They accept all cards, any currency crypto or real, and fake sponsorship deals from companies that didn’t exist until half an hour ago. If there are no consequences to cheating you don’t have to hide it as well. Or at all, obviously.

Chippies still don't seem to take card.

Them and barbers are pretty much the only times I use cash now
A barber near me only took cash payments. Turns out it was a money laundering operation for local drug dealers. I should have known really when they cut my hair

Just downloaded my ticket from my MacBook, to I phone.
Instructions quite clear
Couple of clicks, it's there in my apple wallet

Pretty impressive stuff, I say.

[If anything it seemed too straight forward!]

Any hold ups at the game, may I suggest user error, rather than technology problems

Not as easy as taking a plastic season ticket out of a wallet and tapping it on the card reader, never been held up yet....

Woah, hold on there, grandpa - you’re denying the natural evolution of the whole human race where everyone must do everything with a phone, or some such complete horseshit

It must be true, ‘cos the interweb told me. And the Daily Mail

And if you couldn't make the game how would you pass on the ticket to a mate or even stranger?
