Assuming Tielemans and Kasper will either depart or be left on the bench. It’s still a strong side, but if Barnes can’t play it becomes far less so. Very thin on wide options.

It'll be interesting to see if BR can get the players up for this season.

Without the squad refresh he so clearly wanted and given his comments last season about over achieving, it would be easy for the players to settle for mid table.

There's easily enough quality in the squad for a top six finish if we keep injury free (already looking unlikely) and replace anyone who departs.

It might just be that without the need to integrate and 'gel' new players, we can start stronger than other teams.
