Without wanting to stir up a play offs push we are only 5 points off Blackpool if we win our game in hand. I'd be pretty sure Pearson won't have given up on securing a play off place as easily as the supporters seem to have done.

I think there's two ways of approaching the matter. As SJN suggests looking at the gap between us and Blackpool is not the only one. My best guess is that we would need at least 23 more points to have a realistic chance of finishing sixth on 75 points. That means we need 7 wins and two draws or 8 wins from the last 9 games. Sadly nothing in our season todate suggests we could suddenly embark on a streak of form that only Reading have managed this season.

we'll lose today. the players will know that's it for this season. we'll be mediocre for the remainder of games and slide slightly downward till the end of the season. at least the weather is picking up....

we'll win, go on a great run, just miss out on the play-offs and everyone will be really up for next season, and so it starts again

I'm actually confident that we'll win today. Sol Bamba and Beckford for us and James Chester for them.

I'd bloody hate losing to these for various reasons. But I fear we will.

1-0 Hull, some no-mark from a set-piece. Sigh.

I'm thinking we may play a 4-3-2-1 formation today, with Bamba in central midfield, Dyer and Marshall as wingers/right-left midfielders, Schlupp and Nugent playing Centre Forwards and Beckford as a Striker.

It'd be nice to win this just so that boring Hull troll pisses off for a few weeks.

Loved that chant today.........

"Hull is a shit hole, that's why he came home....." :icon_bigg
