I wonder if there will be any significant announcements, as part of his trip? Stadium stuff, for example?

I'd assume he's coming over for the Cup final as the primary reason, and then just been able to extend his visit to take in a couple more games as well.

Has he even been to the new training centre since it opened, if he's not been to a game in over a year?

I thought it was said that he’d be officially opening the training ground, when he was next here, so I assume there’s that.

I was just speculating about if there would be anything else to go with that.

This truly is must win.

If we don't win this we may as well give up and focus on the Cup final.

But if we win, us playing first puts pressure on the chasing pack. Going first this weekend seems like a good advantage.

Have to win though. Hopefully it works in our favour that Newcastle need points too
Newcastle don’t really need any more points though.

We really need an early goal, to avoid it going the way of Southampton and Palace (for most of the game)

I really think that there is a lot hanging on this game. The City players do suffer from morale swings and if we don't win tonight I think there could be some bad days ahead.

Anyhow, we WILL win and all is going to be better than fine.

This is going to be a turgid affair

I’m going 3-0 Citeh - an opener from the Nacho man, a wonderful one-on-one from Vards and a late header from Albrighton. Boom! COYB!!!!

Please, please let us get an early goal.

And then please, please use that to push on rather than defend a 1-0 lead
