That change worries me. We were already starting to sit back yet we’ve ween we can better these by being proactive. Bad move in my opinion, and could cost us.

Much of the performance has been good, and Brendan can’t stick them in the net for Barnes himself. But his job is to see things as they are at the time of making the change and what we need is another goal.

Agree. Helps stretch the pitch a bit and being worried about pace on the counter might force them a bit deeper. Shame Gray can’t kick, but we’ve got who we’ve got.

I feel for BR here. At this point he’s working with very limited resources. This period of difficulty will have served to demonstrate very clearly to the club what areas need beefing up and in that respect it’s been a good thing because it’ll make the hard decisions easier. I expect a list of targets has already been put together.
