I can only assume that he/his representatives have decided not to negotiate and is off at the end of the season. No Praet either. Would have liked to see him given 20 minutes at least

The article in the Athletic today seemed relatively positive about him signing a contract, to me. It obviously mentioned offers from elsewhere, but there I read it as a desire to get a deal done.

That may be true, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right thing to do. If all your best players are defenders, you don’t play a 10-0-0 to get them all in.

Yep, no Tavares is an interesting one. He must be the best player in the parking lot. I don't want to read anything into it.

What changes would you have made? Albrighton for one of the CB's?

I don’t disagree with that, but if it means shoe horning them into a formation that has been largely unsuccessful this season, I don’t think we should be starting out best 11 fit players.

Albrighton instead of Soyuncu who hasn’t had a great last few games, and we could have gone 4-2-3-1
