Teams just do not have to work hard to beat us. We are the softest of soft touches. It’s been moments of quality that have kept us afloat for a while. Without Tielemans, Fofana and with Vardy not the same…we don’t have that quality any more.

This is it. Southampton ARE shit, and that says everything about us as well. On paper we should be a damn site better with the amount of top clubs looking at our top players... Barnes, Vardy, Tielemans, Maddison and Fofana is almost an embarassment of riches and yet here we are serving up shit day after day and who's fault is that? We need a refresh alright and it starts with Brendan...

Hugely concerning long term. The players’ mindset is shot to bits. Aside from certain individuals simply not being good enough, this is no longer a team. No cohesion. No accountability. No foundations to build from, currently. The performance on the field matches the narrative off it. Very worrying.
