Perez is properly out of the picture now isn't he? Could've easily bought him oninstead of Praet for Ünder

Yeah the more I see him he's just not a defensive midfielder.

Not sure he will fit our system ever though. Hes a bit of a terrier in midfield. Closes down well, but not a proper defensive mid, but also not a creative or attacking mid.

Can still be useful in the squad but think he will go at some point to be a bottom half journeyman but with a Prem career.

in the formation we are playing he can be the new Kante to Youri's Drinkwater when ever we want to play this way, Mendy has done well and Wilf will come back but they all win the ball back well just in a different way
