Pre Match Leicester v Sunderland

From what I have seen the exchange happened after the end of the interview. Was it actually broadcast in the first instance or has it been dredged up by somebody with their own agenda? It is waisad about a fortnight old before it hit the news.
Nope, can't work it sorry Bob.

I think that Sunderland have a better team than the three clubs immediately above them in the league. However, this season, both their manager and players look completely bereft of confidence. Moyes is done for as a manager it seems. The Man Utd experience appears to have killed his edge.

It was only in early December that they beat us reducing the gap between us to just two points. We were in free fall and they seemed to be on the up. In actual fact, we were still only two points clear of them five weeks ago. A win tonight and we go into the top half and put 16 points between the sides.

I think tonight's match will be tight and edgy at times. They have to go for the win which will make it interesting. We need the win too in order to give us some space to rotate over the next couple of weeks. First goal is the key.

Seems more likely than Ulloa (sorry, Ulloah) being on the pitch in the 44th minute of the match.

He's never playing for us again.

If my understanding is correct - we could be in 9th by the end of the night? Any more than a 1-0 win?

If Stoke lose without scoring 3 goals and Watford draw or lose, even a 1-0 win would get us to 9th. On the other hand a draw could see us down to 14th.

Sunderland's position, possibly without Defoe, Moyes making the wrong kind of news... it's 'perfect storm' scenario innit?

Palace surprised Chelsea. You can't take anything for granted. Got to concentrate and not be overly confident.

Sorry, prematch nerves.

I hope our players are in the mood to do an absolute demolition job.

I mean we could really seize the day here and absolutely smash these sorry lot.

I want 4 at least, hopefully 6 for a real celebration.

Depends if we decide to make an effort or not.

If you fancy Wilfred Ndidi to be the first goal-scorer again you can get 18/1. City have the first six favourites to be the first goalscorer with Jamie Vardy, Islam Slimani. Leo Ulloa, Shinji Okazaki, Riyad Mahrez and Ahmed Musa all shorter odds than Jermain Defoe.

Surprising that Slimani and Ulloa are shorter odds than Okazaki - that must be a comment on how the bookies rate Shinji's goal scoring skills. Truly bizarre that they and Musa are all fancied over jermaine defoe to score.

The odds are based on the assumption that the player will start the game. Slimani and Ulloa have a better goals to game ratio than Okazaki. So clearly you'll get longer odds on Okazaki. It's not rocket science.

A bit silly though. I would take likelihood of being on the pitch a better indicator of scoring potential.

No. If the player doesn't play and you put a bet on, you get your money back. Doing it the way they do means they can set the odds without worrying about which team is selected.

Although that makes more sense I'm not willing to admit it.

That makes more sense. What if they are used subs?

Seems ridiculous that they are more likely to score than Defoe though.
