Castagne, Faes, Ward, Iversen, Choudhury, Soumare, Praet, Nacho, Daka, Justin, Vestergaard, Vardy, Thomas…all have various question marks over them.

I don’t understand why we are playing Castagne and Faes at the expense of Justin and Souttar.

Today is the first time I’ve become properly concerned. I knew it would be very hard reshaping the squad, but we aren’t shifting players out quickly enough for my tastes and our preparations don’t look fit for purpose.

As it stands, Maresca is going to need to be an exceptional coach to get us going early in the season.
