Hammond in for James possibly the only change, tough game and we need to bounce back from the Charlton defeat. If we play well we can win this, im predicting a tight game but a narrow 1-0 win Vardy

Re: v Wigan (H)

Very tough match I fear this...

Schmeichel

Da Laet Morgan Whitbread Konch

Drinkwater Hammond King

Vardy Wood Nugent

2-1 win, hopefully, but I would imagine a score-draw.

Liam Moore, alex. Liam Moore !

It's funny that half the people picking teams seem to miss one of our best performing players so far this season.

Wigan have just lost McArthur (sp) and Macmanaman should be suspended

A 4 1 2 1 2 line up could be a way forward (aka the diamond) now we have that holding midfielder.

Weirdly RDL appears to get forward more when in a back 4.
Knocky could play at the front of the diamond, and hopefully show why he thinks he should be in the team.

I'm hoping he goes with a flat 4 at the back seeing as we are at home but reckon he will stick with the 5.

Would personally go for:

Kasper
DeLaet Morgan Moore Konch
Knocky Hammond King Dyer
Wood Vardy

Reckon it will be more like:

Kasper
Morgan Moore Miquel
De Laet Schlupp
King Hammond Drinkwater
Nuge Vardy

Be nice to get back to winning ways but feel it will be difficult with 5-3-2 so expect a draw if we are to persist with it.

I get a bit bored of hearing that footballers have a 'position' and if they're played anywhere else, they're 'out of position'. You hear this even of youth players. In most cases, this stems right back to the first time they play football as kids, so the decision of which position someone plays is ultimately down to some random schoolteacher. In my experience it goes along the lines of "he's quick, so he's a striker" and "he's tall, so he's a centre back".

If this was always adhered to, Ashley Cole would still be a striker, Gareth Bale a left back, etc.

Everyone knows that for young players it is the fattest kid in nets and everyone else just chase the ball.
