First one maybe a bit unlucky but that was garbage in the build up to the second goal. Gave it away really cheaply and then just caught on the break after the turnover with too little numbers...

And there is the Jota header goal with big Jan just watching him.

Good start, very worrying last 5-10 mins.

It's all in football - it either works or fails badly but thankfully we won't be playing teams of Liverpools quality each week.

Castagne is dreadful. Ditto Daka and Ndidi

Vestergaard losing his man time and time and time again. Awful

Oh dear.

First few minutes Liverpool pressed us high and we seem to need teams to do that. We have a couple of tricks to play through that high press and create space to attack.

Obviously, Liverpool realised this and just dropped off a bit. Stop trying to win the ball high and wait for us to feck up and give it away.

That's exactly what we do over and over again because we have mediocre players trying to play a system that requires them to be much better.

The first part of this season is going to be a horror show. No attacking threat and mistakes all over the place.

The keeper looks shite too.

Apart from giving the ball away cheaply. Weve been okay. Liverpool look impressive and a class above of course. Good finishes for the goals. I’m sure management will be getting a lot of analysis from this half alone.

we're gonna win this 3-72

Holy Jebus, that last twenty minutes was an absolute ****ing horror show

Very poor ten minute spell. Liverpool changed shape, attacked Winks and we stank it out. Lots to learn…. It’s pre season after all

It's not great but let's take a reality check, we are playing a world class team. What more did we expect.

Desperately need some more attacking quality.

And defensive.

And midfield.

Cannot play with Ndidi, Albrighton and Daka as you’re attacking threat, it’s an abomination

And Castagne can just **** off

Ricardo seems to be playing left-back come central midfield whilst Castagne is right-back. Salah has the freedom of the pitch, which has contributed to all the goals Liverpool have scored.

Even if we'd stayed up and had some decent players we'd most likely be getting pumped here. This choice of fixture (and our entire pre season) just shows the rot in the club hasn't been dealt with. The ****s in charge are still in charge and I'll be giving Pep a fair amount of slack if our season goes the way I think it will go.
