No way he drops Youri.
Record signing or not, he’s been distinctly average this season and if dropping him means we can put Maddison in the middle whilst still having two defensive midfielders against a half decent team on Saturday, I’m all for it.

Try playing him in the right place would be a good start before dropping him.

Same goes with Maddison, would be great to start playing people in the best position just for a laugh.

All is as stated. He won't drop him though.

He'd still play in my first 11. Hamza would miss out.

Against Newcastle at home, completely agree. Against Spurs, I think we need the two defensive midfielders. Maddison needs to play in the middle no matter what.

The problem is we have ten players that are almost certain to play:

Schmeichel, Ricardo, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Choudhury, Tielemans, Maddison, Vardy

And one space for one of: Albrighton, Barnes, Perez, Gray, Praet.

However, no combination of those ten plus one works. All the 'ones' have been tried, none have delivered and none help to balance the team. And the ten don't fit together right.

I think we'll exactly the same against Spurs and see what happens again. The ten plus one of the randoms.

I am not a fan of a diamond in midfield. But if we’re going to play Ndidi and Choudhury, I’d rather we play it. Ndidi at the base, Choudhury and Tielemans ahead of him and Maddison up top. Play two forwards in Perez and Vardy.

I’d rather not do this, but at least this way Tielemans is a bit deeper to link things and Maddison is central.

In recent weeks, I’ve not been impressed with either of our full backs.
Going forward, Ben just stops, then retreats
In defence, Ricardo, has been a bit rash
Get these 2 working the flanks and defend as they should, may just open areas for others

Fuchs back in for me, without question.

But then actually play someone in front of him who has natural width rather than Maddison

If we don't get 3 points from this I can't see us improving on last season's league position, losing to the worst Mank u side in 20 years was bad enough but if we are to compete for a higher place finish then 3 points at home against a direct rival is a must.

My team for this.

Schmeichel
Pereira Evans Soyuncu Chilwell
Tielemans Ndidi
Maddison
Perez Vardy Barnes

I'g go with this but Fuchs for Chilwell

It's like the Claude days! I haven't got a scooby what the team will be.

Suspect it includes:

Kasper

Ricardo
Evans
Soyuncu
Chilwell

Maddison
Tielemans

Vardy

And at least one of Hamza/Ndidi

As long as the team picked plays with intensteeee and desire we should be Ok.
One team could win 3-1.

Don't forget that H. Kane will score.

I strongly suspected we will pick another coward's team, and we will get what we deserve as a result
