great job by the tail today, got us a lead of 85. Cobb will be gutted, so close to a ton and carrying his bat. Our highest scores this year make interesting reading given the number of 80s and 90s not converted

We won but still lost two wickets! Boyce got to be getting nervous about his place now, he has done very little since an early season 80 and struggled for the second half of last season too. Is Greg Smith back at county and fit? Him or a return for Nixon would be the only option.

Last championship win since last September. I would guess that this will be reason/ excuse enough to retain the same side.
