I wonder if Kruger is injured, he's only bowled 11 overs and there is a sub fielder on. If I'm right they need 30 off 5 overs. If I'm wrong and there are more overs we're shafted.

From the official site: By the interval, Notts had reached 189-3 in their pursuit of a 377 run victory target in a minimum of 91 overs.

Hope Leics aren't bowling too quickly in the last hour.....

Seems ridiculous they have to finish this early when they've lost so much time in the match.

I agree - there should be more flexibility.

I'll take the draw from the position we were in but I am disappointed we didn't make more inroads early on. Notts have won 5 from 6 before today, they are a strong side.

Some extracts from the official site:

LEICESTERSHIRE were left ruing missed chances as table-topping Nottinghamshire eventually settled for a draw in a nail-biting climax to the LV County Championship match at Oakham School.

Australian strokemaker David Hussey profited most from the fact that Leicestershire struggled in the field at times and he seemed to have put Notts on course for another victory with his explosive innings.

But Nick Walker, who had spilled two of the chances that allowed Hussey to survive, bounced back to take crucial wickets at the end as Notts finished on 363-8 in their pursuit of a 377-run victory target.

With Garnett Kruger off the field injured, Walker and Mansoor stood up to the test well to force Notts to settle for a draw – and seven points to add to their promotion challenge.

not a bad effort in the end, did well to peg them back.

Over a hundred for the first wicket it looked like another defeat was looming.
