347-7, could go either way.
Seems ridiculous they have to finish this early when they've lost so much time in the match.
LEICESTERSHIRE were left ruing missed chances as table-topping Nottinghamshire eventually settled for a draw in a nail-biting climax to the LV County Championship match at Oakham School.
Australian strokemaker David Hussey profited most from the fact that Leicestershire struggled in the field at times and he seemed to have put Notts on course for another victory with his explosive innings.
But Nick Walker, who had spilled two of the chances that allowed Hussey to survive, bounced back to take crucial wickets at the end as Notts finished on 363-8 in their pursuit of a 377-run victory target.
With Garnett Kruger off the field injured, Walker and Mansoor stood up to the test well to force Notts to settle for a draw – and seven points to add to their promotion challenge.
