so he has not signed but he is not even certain of signing for leicester has he has not been offered a contract and not spoken to MA but he will be signing, i follow you

Why do people that give us good info always seem to be questioned? When some stupid story in the Sun or the like can get taken as gospel?
I am not saying that they never get things wrong, nothing is certain, but they come on here to give us some 'informed' gossip rather than most of the b0llocks written in the papers and get hounded with constant doubt. A lot of the time they can not answer or back up the story as it is just something they have heard.
One or two good 'in the know' people do not post on here for that very reason, they do not have to share there info with us, I am just pleased they do and long may it continue.

Agree 100%, however all I was pointing out was that RN had made a very bold statement saying Leon Best WILL be signing for us, and then posted he hasn't even been at the clubs for talks and that MA has to convince him that this is the place to be. For me RN would have been better to post something along the lines of 'A deal with Leon Best is progressing nicely' - That way it would have matched the truth of where the deal is currently at.

I for one, get passed information from an extremely reliable source, but do not post it as i'm asked not to.

I welcome any information on the forum but don't see why I should be ridiculed for stating something that is fact.

Fair do's Nottingham and agree RN could have posted something more open ended, but far too many times posters ridicule stories due to how info is posted/phrased from people that do have reliable stories, that those people get p*ssed off and do not bother in the future which is a great loss to the forum IMO.

Until the player signs on the dotted line nothing is concrete, like Durham said.
MA could come on here now and say 'I have spoken to Leon and he has agreed to join us' the next thing another club come in late and sign him from under our noses.
NOTHING is ever certain as some posters on here have found out and so did the OS when they announced Jason MacAteer.
