So considering Nugent signed for nowt, signing Lita for £1.5 million would be madness.

A non argument, we got Nugent for free because his contract had expired, not because he is worthless. Had we paid 1.5m for him you wouldn't be complaining.

Yes I would. I said at the time Nugent was a canny freebie. I didn't state an opinion on whether Nugent was worth £1.5 million though.

I worry that our current fit strikers don't look like they would get 20 goals between them. I think someone such as Lita playing alongside Nugent could be effective. We also have goal scorers in our midfield.

I would think that another attacking addition to our squad is essential. There are a few players who might then be shown the door IMO.

I think he meant some of the midfield surplus, Oakley, Moussa etc, plus Howard and probably Waghorn and Kermo.

I didn't name names or even positions. I think even our Thai Friends would be keen to not over extend the wage bill. It's only my opinion though. Of the three names you mentioned I think Howard would be a cert. I don't think Waghorn is rated right now. He definitely needs to be playing so a loan move would be good for both parties. Vassell is staying I'd presume.

No it doesn't his record is roughly 1 in 3, which IMO is no better than the likes of Waghorn and Nugent who we already have. He's not the worst player we've been linkd with at all but I think we should be aiming for and can do better.

Waghorn's record here (according to Wiki) is 16 goals in 73 appearances. That's roughly a goal every four and a half games. Lita is better. If somebody had told me at the end of last season that we'd be in for him I'd have been very pleased indeed.
