I almost fainted a couple of weeks ago when I picked up the newspaper and read " Chairman turns down a big money offer for Lee Morris "
No I was not asleep in bed dreaming ...I was reading the Harrogate Advertiser and the story was that Ashton .....in the same league as Harrogate Town .. the Northern Conference ...had offered £12,000 for the Star Striker .( I suppose some of you will think Im pulling your leg when I say that we have not seen much of this Star this season .....he always seems to be injured ) . The point I would like to make is that, leaving on one side the wages , the sums of money Leicester City are talking about nowadays when they seek to strengthen the side are not too dissimilar to transfer sums in non league football . This really does put things into perspective .
By the way some of you will remember Lee Philpott ...an old boy of the club.....now doing a super job at Harrogate Town .
