Does patience include backing Levein through a spell in League 1 if it came to it?

If we are in the bottom four/five come the end of November then you have no choice but to look at the position. Until then i'm not going to press the panic button.

Especially as 3 weeks in the sun means I won't care!

i was on holiday when MA left, i saw his face on a television in a bar in mallorca, i wondered what the hell was happening. big surprise.

i was also away when PT was sacked, holidays and new managers at leicester seem to go together for me.

btw, my next holiday is november.....

Why is the bottom four/five in November too late? Everyone seems to think Levein should have us promotion candidates in 11 months, surely that means a new guy can get us enough points to survive in 5 months???

Or does it not work like that?

Don't think it's about relegation - we'll grind out enough points, although
obviously, relegation is mathematically very possible based on the poor points return on matches played, but the real issue is whether or not the club is moving in the right direction.

The attendances are not going to collapse this season because the great proportion of those going to games are pre - committed season ticket holders.

Assuming, the board exercise patience during what is not likely to be a very exciting season, the crunch would come at the end of the season when the board would need to decide if those ST holders are more likely to renew under the same manager or whether a change is the best bet.

I understand how you feel about it DF but CL is not going to be sacked,it's not going to happen and if people are so confident of us being relegated then get down the Betting Shop and put some money on it ,you'll get decent odds.

I don't have one YV but it seems people are giving it the big 'back Levein' - 'give him 3 years' etc etc but then are saying if we are in trouble in November we will have to get rid! Which is it? are we backing him or not?
