It is obvious that he is a quick learner judging by his team selection last night-reduce the average age of the squad is a must to progress.
In my opinion we could dispense of the likes of the bigger names, such as Keown, Elliott, Makin, Gemmill, Dublin, Blake and Wilcox and go with some younger legs. Playing Scowy up front is a better option. If he can add to the squad with the likes of a couple of his ex’s- Pressley and De Vries then we will certainly be better off in the future.
Results may not come straight away, but already he has the team in better shape than MA and DB. Natural width is important and Gillespie is fine at this level. He has made a big impression on me straightaway. We will progress under this guy…….

don't think we should be getting rid of both keown and elliot, one of two, because i don't trust dabizas, he's a good player but rate both elliot and keown above him, plus IMO the youth defenders could probably learn more of elliot and keown than they could of dabizas, apart from how to keep the bench warm in portugal!

I agree, not a Dabizas fan at all. I don't think his heart is here. Only reason he came back was because no one wanted him.

Keep Elliott he has done us well over the years & looked fantastic in this league at Ipswich last season. I'd keep Dublin from that list too, I really think he will come good. He's a Leicester lad & a proven goalscorer that can also defend. With more width now perhaps we can get better crosses onto his head.

Martin O'Neill style for me!
