Apart from getting married, birth of sprogs, football matches etc, what is a memorable incident in your life. It might be sad, happy, funny or just plain madness. You are not limited to one memory.

I have loads of memories to fall back on, but one high up there is coming in to land at the old Hong Kong airport, coming down between the buildings you could see people in the windows of the buildings. In fact you could see the whites of their eyes and what they were having for lunch!

Drowning, dying of hypothermia, then being revived by the RNLI and Air Ambulance to be told that my family, whom I was responsible for, had all also been rescued and were safe and sound.

Having a collapsed lung when I was 18 and thinking I was dying, had to be rushed to hospital

The RNLI is the only charity I give to, and to be honest it should not be a charity it should be government funded IMO

It's disgusting that these people receive no, or very little funding and work on a voluntary basis.

The Downing Drive back garden run. Start off from The Dove and aim to get down to Uppingham Road via the back gardens of all the houses backing onto Coles Nursery. Went great for ages until people started wising up and putting barbed wire and broken glass out for us.

The first thing that springs to mind happened on the day I was told that I would no longer need any further treatment. The best moment was not being told the news myself, but hearing the reaction of the first person I relayed the news to.

My best friend giving me her diagnosis :icon_redf :icon_wink

:icon_redf Ooops, I meant to type "positive prognosis" or something similar.

I really must get Dr Mark Sloan out of my mind, he's taking control.

Dawn in the Austrian alps above the clouds.....

Then again in the ski lift, sauna and hotel room.....

Starting up my own business from scratch with no financial help from any fecker and not being made bankrupt...yet.

Has should Mountain Rescue

Agreed.
I had to pay Austrian mountain rescue but I didn't begrudge doing it. Coming down a moutain strapped on a stretcher on skis was, in a weird way, a great experience. I just wish I'd felt in a better state to enjoy it.
