Aye they didn't really have to try much did they. Goal from a corner. We had the invisible man upfront and replaced him with the Nachos we first signed. Soumare in midfield, obviously just for bantz by Brendog. Justin continues to look like someone who hasn't played for a year, others lookman like they've never played....

11 shots on target vs. 1. Sums the match up. A very easy win for Liverpool.
Not a lot worth saying to be honest. It was a very typical performance against one of the best teams this season. We're just nowhere near the level to compete.
The thing that stood out tonight is our lack of fitness. I know I've gone on about it several times this season but why are Albrighton and Daka and Soumare etc. absolutely shagged after an hour? We're not even playing an intensive running game.
We fecked up in preseason with a shortened preparation and we've never got the players fit since.
The only other point is that was yet another game where we made very few fouls and got no yellow cards. As well as being fundamentally not fit, we're also nowhere near aggressive enough as a team.
What a waste of a season this is turning out to be.
