It’s not necessary to win at that level as long as the pipeline produces a few Mcateers. Nice to have a winning culture where possible though.

Yep, from what little we have seen of them, WMM looks to be a more technically gifted player than McAteer, but McAteer's work rate and engine has pushed him further forward in the pecking order.

Definitely shouldn't be written off just yet.
