Is Maddison due back for this one?

If so, Maddison in for Praet
Albrighton in for Perez

We need to get at them but also have players that will work hard, so Albrighton needs to be in there.

Play same 11 that started last game
Get at them from the off
Sheff Utd caused them problems
Just got to believe

Maddison in for Praet and Fuchs in for Chilwell if it was me and I know that's harsh on Praet but Maddison just offers more. I think Perez did very well against Newcastle as he created space and time for others. If you watch him carefully he actually does some lovely things really well. I want to get Albrighton is but I just don't think dropping Perez is a good move.

So what do people think about playing Choudhury and N’didi or do we not play Choudhury and be more attack minded?

It's not like Liverpool's midfield is overly dangerous it's their front 3 and full backs you have to stop, stay with Wilf and the Belgian's

I think we will go;

Schmeichel
Pereira Evans Soyuncu Chilwell
Ndidi Choudhury
Praet Tielemans Maddison
Vardy

This is our formation when Liverpool have the ball. When we get the ball, we will go 4 1 4 1 with Choudhury moving forward into an attacking mid-field role.

I am assuming Maddison will be fit. If not, then Barnes on the left side.

Strictly speaking, Mane and Salah are midfielders. Fantasy football says so. Must be true.

Saturday, 3PM.

They've won 16 games in a row in the league.

They were on a run of 85 unbeaten home games when Jock Wallace's struggling team went there and won 2-1 in 1981. Pat Byrne and Jim Melrose got the goals. Alan Young scored an OG. We were relegated at the end of the season.

Wallington
Williams
Friar
Peake
May
O'Neill
Byrne (Goodwin)
Melrose
Young
Wilson
MacDonald

I'm misty eyed.

I was there as a fresh faced 16 year old. Couldn't believe what we'd done. Went to the newsagents the day after & bought 3 different Sunday papers just to wallow in everyones amazement.

On the down side I also managed to get my ****ing head kicked in TWICE on the way from Anfield to Lime St after scumbag Scouse coppers deliberately sent me the wrong way for the connecting buses to the station. Laughed at me when I realised & tried to double back:

"Roads closed mate, make your own way"

"I'll get killed!!"

"Oh dear, how sad, never mind"

In the half hour that followed I think if I'd been fractionally less smart I genuinely would have been kicked to death. On a building site near a bridge.

Sat on the train home (which I barely made it to) with the worst headache in history & a face that looked like it had been used for butchery practice, my everlasting hatred of Liverpool as a football club, a city & even as an idea was born.

Shameful as it is to admit, it actually took me a long time to give a shit about Hillsborough.

I'd rather Man City won the PL every year til the end of creation than see these filthy ****s do it.

2-1 (Vardy, Tielemens)

In the interests of balance I went to uni in Liverpool... never had a problem and my experience of the people was that they were very kind. :icon lol:

Then we will be too narrow IMO Praet is more effective centrally as is Tielemans and Maddison

I'd play five in midfield. Choudhury man-marking Firminho, then a diamond with Ndidi at the base dropping into defence to allow both centre backs to track Mane/Salah, Tielemans and Praet either side and Maddison just behind Vardy.

This plan is genius. Liverpool aren't shit but this plan would befuddle them.

it would also completely change everything we do

So you aren't interested in playing at all then?

They are not infallible, we need a measured approach that at least allows us to carry some threat.

Liverpool are at their most dangerous when they don't even need to think about the opposition attempting to play.
