Definitely capable. But if we were going to use him to his strengths then he wouldn't have been sent off on loan this season. Cut our losses and move on. The reported €10m is better than nowt or another loan.

So Slimani has 4 goals and 5 assists this season in 6 matches.
I actually don't have much more to say.
That fact kinda pisses me off for some reason even though I know he probably doesn't suit our team as a starter.
Shall I just write it off to Ligue 1 being shitter than the PL?

no had we altered our system to suit him he would have been a success here, we didn't because Vardy stayed, Vardy in his style is almost unique as a striker so unless you find a like for like player no other striker will truly thrive here
