This isn't exactly great for a striker is it?

Might want to check his minutes playedThis isn't exactly great for a striker is it?
If he hasn’t played many minutes, he must have been mostly a substitute. And then he clearly hasn’t shown enough as a substitute to be given starts for a struggling Rotherham team.Might want to check his minutes played
539, in the league.Might want to check his minutes played
Not disagreeing, the point is more that he hasn’t exactly played 23 full games. “23 appearances” is misleading. If he hasn’t played many minutes, he must have been mostly a substitute. And then he clearly hasn’t shown enough as a substitute to be given starts for a struggling Rotherham team.

He needs too much time on the ball for the English game, IMO. I don’t think he’s ever lacked talent, but doing it in Turkey or France isn’t the same thing.given our options on the wing its odd he never had a chance, even in preseason under Rodgers
have you seen our other wingers though? Beyond Barnes we don't have one worthy of the nameHe needs too much time on the ball for the English game, IMO. I don’t think he’s ever lacked talent, but doing it in Turkey or France isn’t the same thing.
Yes, I have. That doesn’t mean we should have kept him though.have you seen our other wingers though? Beyond Barnes we don't have one worthy of the name

Good luck to him. To fight back after the terrible injuries he’s had is a credit to him.A very good Matty James interview:

Yep. My younger daughter’s favourite player, when she first started going to games.I have all the time in the world for Matty James.
If that’s pre- injury, your daughter must have started going to games in the 60’s.Yep. My younger daughter’s favourite player, when she first started going to games.
