Might want to check his minutes played
If he hasn’t played many minutes, he must have been mostly a substitute. And then he clearly hasn’t shown enough as a substitute to be given starts for a struggling Rotherham team.

Not disagreeing, the point is more that he hasn’t exactly played 23 full games. “23 appearances” is misleading.

Likewise not disagreeing.

But Graz’s comment about 23 appearances and 0 goals not being good for a striker, is an accurate one, which ever way you look at it (if he played 23 full games, it’s not good for a striker, if he isn’t even good enough to start, it’s not good for a striker).

Obviously hard to judge him fully but even when he featured pre-season or when I've looked in on U23 games he never really stood out for being good so his goal return is no real surprise.

Bit of a shame as it sounded like he was a good prospect give how upset Sheff Wed were when 'we' poached him.

given our options on the wing its odd he never had a chance, even in preseason under Rodgers
He needs too much time on the ball for the English game, IMO. I don’t think he’s ever lacked talent, but doing it in Turkey or France isn’t the same thing.

have you seen our other wingers though? Beyond Barnes we don't have one worthy of the name

Doesn’t seem strange to me.
Rodgers saw him play in training, has clearly identified he’s not good enough, and got rid. He played very few games for us and looked shit in all of them with no flash of inspiration.
