i do find it funny

I don't think anything IH does is funny.

But if he thinks having a light hearted atmosphere around the place is the best way to take the pressure off the players and enable them to play better, I don't see what harm it does.

Having just read (yet another) book about Brian Clough, I can only assume that anyone against this sort of thing must have thought Clough was a shit manager with all his carrying on (whether they were doing well or not) and that it would be better for everyone at LCFC to acknowledge our current position by shuffling around with long faces, looking at the ground and mumbling.
