Does that make it right?

Do you condone the sale of items manufactured at the expense of one person's human rights so that another may benefit?

Whilst I know for a fact that there are families who wouldn't even be able to afford these clothes or similarly cheap meat, it doesn't make it acceptable in the first place. Although it is desperately sad, it's a whole other argument* to discuss poverty and the fact that so many people in this country alone live battling it constantly. But I think we should save that for another day...

*I'm not sure if it was something that you were trying to invoke, whether you were simply musing, or if you were just playing Devil's advocate.

I was trying to invoke nothing, nor musing, nor playing Devil's advocate. Just stating a fact. It's somewhat more expensive to live what you would call an ethical life.

Life is a battle.

People die, animals die, plants die.

Only the strongest will survive.

So to summarise, nambie pambie, yogurt knitting, tent dwelling, tree hugging, hemp wearing, unwashed berry collectors only exist because their ancestors killed all the above.

Grow a pair and shoot a bear.

Today I 'ave mostly been eating a late dinner of roast lamb from Waitrose, preceeded by a Halal tuna melt with leak and potato soup in O'Neills watching Super Craig bury the Jacks.
I am now gonna have a knap before the Super Bowl.
