Two points:

1. I think any team is beatable on their day. Man Utd will be out for revenge but we're in need of points more so than they are in my opinion so hopefully we'll want it more.

I'd go for a 4-2-3-1 with Cambiasso and Hammond in the 2, Schlupp, Kramaric and Albrighton in the 3 and Ulloa up top. Kramaric made some brilliant runs against Spurs, something which I haven't seen from a City player for a very very long time. Whenever he got the ball, he made something happen so he's a definite starter. I believe we genuinely have a chance providing we get a foothold in midfield and hit them on the counter.

2. Although every game is plausibly winnable, i've made a list of our and our relegation rivals' "big" fixtures yet to come. A lot of press is being given to the fact that we have a very tough run coming up, which we do, however everyone else apart from Sunderland have yet to face the same teams, and some have it harder overall than we do. I've included Liverpool over West Ham because I think Liverpool are a bigger threat (my own opinion.)

Just food for thought that others have it worse off than we do. :icon_bigg

Hence why we need more firepower than just the one striker up front.

I would love to play 5 in midfield, but I feel we have to start with Kramaric and Ulloa, so unless we go to 3 in a back I think we need to play 4 in midfield.

Cambridge seemed to do a reasonable job playing 4-4-1-1 with a midfielder behind their striker (Nugent or Kramaric). Man United didn't really have any answer to unlocking their defence.

Albeit on a much smaller and tight pitch. They will get taken apart at Utd due to being dragged more easily.

Apparently, the Abbey stadium pitch is 4.8 yards shorter & 0.4 yards narrower than Old Trafford.. Wikipedia.

Someone should tell that to Nik Nak head then.

Hopefully he will play the same way we did against them at our ground. Man Utd will definitely go for it, we need to be compact and hit them on the break, Ulloa is a must, and the form albrighton is in he will put in some great deliveries. If we keep our discipline and faith we can nick a win here!

A high intensity approach is key, Utd are quite slow in their attacking play and having to pick up the pace when they lose the ball is difficult.

Counter attacking side with big Leo up top to hold the ball up when needed. Schlupp and Albrighton with RDL at left back for me.

This season we've been more successful when he's played than not.

Experience, he'll of forgotten all about that in his old age.

Upson and Was at the back would be very one paced, although I expect Upson could help with some of the set piece issues.

I don't think Upson could match the speed of our fastest player.
