According to Stringer he's due to resign given his interest in Sheff Weds.

Will they be able to survive relegation and even more debt?

Perhaps we should ask the Fosse Boys to sing a song.

I think that you're all rotten: both Portsmouth and Leicester are in an infinitely better position because of Milan.

If he is leaving, we should be thanking him, not berating him.
Thanks Milan:038::038::038:

Hahahahahahahaha.

Both clubs are exactly in the same position they were pre-Milan. Except with more debt.

I didn't see a rush of other people interested in buying us, at the time and Milan negotiated the current take over. Do you honestly think that, without Milan, we would have Sven and be talking about adding Premiership quality players to our squad?

Portsmouth may be on a bit of a downer, but they have a recent FA Cup win and spell in the Premiership that was unlikely pre-Milan.

Its also on Yahoo Sports .. Milan Mandaric is set to save Sheffield Wednesday from administration by completing his takeover at Hillsborough today - that's according to the Daily Express.

First of all these Premiership players have yet to materialise permanently. We are limping along in 17th, just like under Kelly etc. Let's not forget a season of managerial **** ups which led to the third tier for the first time. It has nothing to do with him being the only interested party, I honestly believe our path wouldn't have been much different.

Pompey won the Cup outside of Mandaric's time. He sold the club to a person accused of illegal war crimes.

To top it all off, he's left debts at both clubs still standing. He's a hypocrite (apparently willing to give Sousa time), a liar (a shirt every two years) and a crook (only chairman whose got to court with a bung case in the modern era). What sort of bloke invites another manager whilst currently having a perfectly performing one?

Surely that can't be true. After all when some of us raised that scenario as a possibility before his arrival we very firmly slapped down.

At least no one will be able to shit on the back seat of his car any more

And that is something that can only be welcomed by one and all

Top post, all very true...

Looks like the people of Sheffield are getting ready for MM who as I said a day or so ago was coming in on his white charger to save the day.
Some quotes from Sheffield site you can tell which team they support

Looking like Mandaric.

His grandson asked him for a cowboy outfit for Christmas.

Nah, the joke is supposed to be "he asked him for a Mickey Mouse outfit"...

Lol! Very good. Must admit I don't particularly want him on past record but you never know. Bates is a tosser but look where L**ds are now.

Such is life.

been told today he is close to taking over could be some news in next few days.....
..........some one close to a former manager of mandaric told my mate today only passing on what i have been told

If he does go I'll wish him the best luck, I respect him, he saved us from
administration, and without him we wouldn't of had Sven now aswell as the Thais. Thanks Milan :038: :038: :038: :thumbs_up

Agree with all of this.

I remember stating I wasn't the biggest Mandaric fan a while ago, and got pelted. Interesting to see what people think now.

I agree with 'oldfox', Leicester are in a far better position because of Milan, without his interest I wonder if we would have a club to support. I for one will be sad to se him go, so thank you Milan for saving a football club I have supported for 60 years.

before mandaric we couldn't even afford joey, now only those with a sick fetish consider him a saviour. more debt or not we are in a much more attractive position to players and managers now
