Its obviously substantive enough that someone feels a comment has to be made!:icon_wink
Exactly my point, if it was a confirmation, do you think John Barber would be announcing it on RL. It's a negative otherwise the club would be arranging a press conference

It's big news that needs to be denied. If RL had interviewed MM and he said he was buying into City, would they wait to broadcast the interview tomorrow?, or would it be headlines news now?

Well all mandaric has said (allegedly) is that he cannot comment...that isn't a denial. He may not have even made an approach or even an enquiry, but that doesn't rule one out.

All I can tell from what Stevo has posted is that someone has asked him from Radio Leicester and he has said no comment.

Note...No denial. If it was a totally absurd idea he would simply dismiss it as rubbish.

If he has said he can't comment, then that excites me.

But would RL release the news?????

I think Barber has done it this way to build up interest for tomorrow. I expect to hear exactly what has been said in that "I cannot comment".

If he said he cannot comment then to me that says that there is definately an interest on his behalf after all but obviously it must be at an early stage..

did Mandaric actually say 'no comment'?

Which quite interestingly is NOT a denial.

There is some element of truth in this I tell thee!

If interested, you could understand him saying 'no comment' while still the chairman of Pompey, he's well liked there and won't want to lose that by stating his interest in another club (while chairman). The fact that he's not said 'definitely not' is encouraging... but I'm still not convinced by a long way.

would love to see it happen, he could buy the stadium inject some cash would be a dream although i can't see it happen... its more s@!% from NOTW, to be fair we have been linked with laughable names such as andy reid and hoult, so this just tops the list for me of bull s@!% hope i am wrong tho

Won't happen - if there is any interest we will hear some weasel words from the board and the FT about 'exploring' ..but they will make sure that it doesn't happen.

The gut feeling has to be that they are much more concerned about control and delusions of influence, respectively, to want such a radical move.

IMO this is the beginning of the end for the current regime, regardless of whether the Mandaric speculation becomes anything more than just that, the writing is now on the wall for TNBD and pals.

Can they really afford not to listen to Mandaric or any other interested party, would the supporters stand for it.

I would say this story has some legs, why would Radio Leicester really bother their arses to interview Mandaric unless their was at least some element of a story to report.

Have a look at the denial from Timbo ' We have recieved no bid' doesnt say there hasn't been interest or preliminary discussions, very specific comment, which says to me there has been contact, also Mandaric;s no comment would surely have been an unequivable 'No' if he had no interest.

I think this is a lot further down the line than many of us anticipate.

Radio Leicester know the score for once.

Shame they are shyte at trying to hide it.

TNBD hasn't spoken with MM but someone else has (remember the answers are out there folks)
