Only 20 minutes for The Cribs and 45 minutes for the Kaisers?! Shocking.

Ah well. Will still be a quality evening.

NME Big Gig APPROXIMATE stage times:

The Cribs: 7-7.20pm

Klaxons: 7.30-8pm

Bloc Party: 8.10-8.50

Kaiser Chiefs: 9-9.45pm

Manics: 10-11pm.

Some people are going to be disappointed, it has been advertised as started at 7:30pm the places I have seen.

According to The Star today, Mick Jones, Johnny Borrell, Super Furry Animals and Kylie will all be joining the MSP on stage at this gig :102:

Soon to be released on an NME CD :icon_eek:

Better than the original IMO.

Leroy, Melton, we are in for a treat tomorrow night.

NME.com said:
Johnny Marr will join The Cribs for their entire set at the Shockwaves Awards NME Big Gig on Thursday night (February 28) at London’s O2 Arena.

The band are due to take the stage at 7pm (GMT) sharp, and will be followed by Klaxons, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Manic Street Preachers.

Marr recently spent a week recording with the Jarman brothers, and has joined them on stage during various legs of the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour which ended in the Brixton Academy venue in the UK capital on Friday night (February 22).

As well as joining the band for rendition of songs by The Cribs, Marr has played renditions of The Smiths’ classic song, 'Panic', with the Jarmans.

and Leroy.........

After the gig, which will follow the Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony at the IndigO2 venue, there be a special aftershow party featuring The Futureheads playing live at the IndigO2.

Is this the thing we are going to? If so, it's gonna be awesome if the Futureheads are there.

I'm not going, I'm spending the night at Heathrow Airport :icon_roll:icon_sad:

They got that wrong big style.

Tom Clarke from The Enemy joined them for one song and Cerys Matthews ruined another :icon_wink
