But he did win promotion with 5 of them until they got the top level or in the case of Plymouth, out much at the time. I have seen Derby and Norwich fans rate him as a reliable full-back who regardless of division put in a good shift.

He's got a decent appearances record - 440 games he's played a part, his goalscoring record a bit like mine down 5-a-side, 2 in his whole career.

The downer? He spent the Summer with Burton...I can only think his wage packet was out of their range.
