Because Schmeichel's injury is worse than feared and we need experienced cover for Hamer?

The club haven't really said a lot about his recovery progress (unless I missed it which is likely )
I think there's a good chance it will. The original source of the twitter story seems to be Steve Kutner who appears to be Schwarzer's agent.
