Re: Mark Keats signs

Leicester City have added their second signing of the day following the capture of winger Mark Yeates from Tottenham Hotspur on loan until the end of the season, subject to FL paperword approval. The 22-year-old Irishman follows Geoff Horsfield through the doors of the Walkers Stadium, and will be available for Saturday's Championship clash against Luton Town.
Yeates has come up through the ranks at White Hart Lane, and has so far made a total of four appearances for the North London club.
He did, however, get some much needed league experience under his belt during a one-year loan spell at Colchester last season - playing 44 games during their promotion campaign.
City boss Rob Kelly said: "Mark is a talented young player. We've had him watched on a number of occasions.
"He can play on either side and gives us something different to what we have already got.
"Mark comes to us with a good pedigree. He did well at Colchester during their promotion season, but he now needs to challenge himself at this level."
Yeates joined Hull City on loan at the start of the 2006-07 campaign, but injury cut short his stay at the KC Stadium.
The winger has also enjoyed previous loan spells with Swindon and Brighton.
Yeates has been allocated the number eight shirt.

From the Spurs site

Mark Yeates has signed for Leicester City in a loan arrangement until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland under-21 international has made four First Team appearances in our colours, having made his debut in the final game of season 2003-04 against Wolves at Molineux.

He has also enjoyed loan spells at Brighton, Swindon, Colchester and earlier this season at Hull and will now further his Championship experience at the Walkers Stadium.

The midfield playmaker's season-long stay at Layer Road culminated in the U's winning promotion to the Championship, with the 22-year-old featuring in 44 out of 46 League games - scoring five goals.
