For as long as Spurs lover Anderson acts a MM's PR person rather than do any real journalisitic type of questioning

But just because you state something doesn't make it fact. No-one has yet to provide any evidence that this was so, and until then why should people believe it?

I have stated before on this forum that the senior partner at my firm ( who is a football agent as well as being a chartered beancounter ) visited Martin Allen a few weeks before he got the sack. Allen mentioned that the large majority of the signings were MM's, instigated by Barry Silkman and a Hungarian agent MM uses.

I rest my case.

I have heard the real reason Martin Allen was sacked was because he threw the ball so hard at Clive Clarkes chest during half time at Forest that it caused his heart to stop and that is why he was sacked.

Yes thats what i have heard my folks went to the player of season (mon) and they was told this then from a first aider who was first on the scene to attend to him (Clarke ) so i would of thought so

I heard those same rumours, as well as the ones where MM caught Allen doing cocaine.


Of course if either of those were true, why did MM come out after the sacking and say he was going to sack Allen after the Watford-it never happened-game but changed his mind cos of the result?


I would've thought if Allen had ben caught doing cocaine MM would've sacked him straightaway. And of course if he was thinking about sacking him that weekend anyhoo, it would make the Clarke rumour dodgy as MM was going to pull the trigger.



Anyhoo!! MM admitted to a fans forum thingy than Allen was only directly involved in four signings.
If that's not enough for people to accept that Allen wasn't entirely responsible for the shite signings then I don't what other proof they want.

Craig Levein is quite complimentary towards the club when asked about it. So is Micky Adams. Maybe they al lgenuinely want the club to do well despite what happened in thier tenures here?

TBH I believe it was just a case of MM and MA have egos that clashed far too often. Simple as that.

And there would only be one winner in that battle.
